All About Reclaims

In ye' olden days, you could reclaim a horse, which is very well remembered by some older breed supporters...
However, the reclaims system has drastically changed now, and is much more regulated. 

You should read below if you have an interest in knowing!
You may NOT reclaim a horse which you sold, which is an ancestor or descendant of your horse, which is inactive, or for any reason other than what is explicitly outlined below.
The below instances are the only instances in which the group will offer reclaims, and detailed proof must be provided in a note to the group. 
The group may issue a reclaim IF:
  • You purchased a Nordanner and it has been more than a month and the OT has not been sent. (See Group Rules Number 4 and 11).
  • Group-sold import which was purchased directly from the group AND a refund has been requested on the funds.
  • The horse was sold for real-life currency (real money) and the OT was sent and accepted by the group, then the buyer later requested a refund on the funds.
  • A member is banned who owns a retired General. 
    • In this case the retired General may be permanently retired to group lore, reassigned a new owner, or deceased. This decision is at the group's discretion. 
Group reclaims are handled on a case-by-case basis, and are very rare. 
  • If you need to issue a reclaim for any of the above reasons, you will need to note the group. 
  • If you feel you have grounds for a reclaim which is not covered by the above, please note the group. 
  • For both instances above, you must include complete proof of agreement of sale, completion of payment, and an attempt to reach out to the user to rectify the situation privately. In order for the group to process reclaims, we must have all three of these things. ​
  • In some cases, you may be required to rename and redesign the horse. If this is needed, then it will be stated in the reclaim. ​
    • ​Ex: The 2020 Reclaims require that the horse be renamed and redesigned.

In the past, we have done reclaims for various other reasons. However, those reasons are no longer valid to issue a new reclaim unless they fall under the criteria above.
  • You may not reverse prior group reclaims for any reason.​​
Nordanner is not responsible for any lost investments through private sales of deceased horses or horses from banned members who cannot send ownership transfers after they have been banned.
If you are permanently banned from the group, no refunds will be issued for any reclaimed horses, lost slots or in-game items and currency.
