Changes to Nordanner Ownership
Transferring horses is a normal part of HARPG, here is a guide for how to get a horse transferred from one account to another, as well as how we police leases and deceasing nordanners.
Selling Your Nordanner:
To sell a nordanner please send the group a note titled " Ownership transfer"
  • Please include the ID and name of the horse you are transferring.
  • Tag the user you are sending the horse to.
    • Use the @username. 
  • For notes containing multiple sales, you must send the IDs in order from lowest to highest.
  • The group does not formally recognize co-ownership. Only the person whose name is on the ID list is the owner in the eyes of the group. Exceptions apply to co-owned accounts, however there are additional rules for co-owned accounts as outlined in Group Rule 12. 
  • All sales are final unless specific critera are met. These criteria are outlined on the Reclaims page. 

Leasing A Nordanner:
​The group has very limited rules on leasing your horse to other people -- These deals are between you and the other party. We only have the following two rules on leases:
  • A person leasing a horse can make a lease reference, however it will not be accepted as a registration image. 
  • The person leasing the horse does not have the power to transfer, decease, sell slots or anything else with the horse. only the name listed on the ID list can control these things.

Sterilization and Deceasing

Gelding or Sterilizing Your Nordanner:
If at any point you wish to geld or sterilize your horse, feel free to do so. There’s no need to note the group as we do not track such things.
  • If you sell the horse and want it to remain sterile you must state this in the terms of sale. 
  • If this is not stated prior to the sale the new owner may "undo" the gelding/sterilization and continue to breed the horse, provided it has slots left to use.
  • The group will not step in when it comes to a breach of contract on sterilization, as we consider it a private deal between you and the other party.

Deceasing Your Nordanner:
If at any time you wish to decease your horse, you may do so by sending a note to the group titled “Deceased”
  • The same as with sales, please list the ID numbers from low -> high.
  • Slot lists may not be changed once they are declared deceased. However, slots may still be used.
    • Altering slot lists post-deceasing falls under 'scams' per Group Rule 4.
  • Noting slot-holders is considering a common courtesy but is not mandatory.
  • Keep in mind; a Nordanner may only be revived once.
