About: Kaaring Plaques
Our newest version of the Kaaring system has done away with those pesky kaaring journals entirely! We now have a plaque-and-thread-based system. Each horse will have their own plaque as their official kaaring log, hosted over on Nordministrator
Plaque Guidelines:
- The comment threads under each plaque are for admin use only. Please don’t leave comments or replies on them!
- To get a plaque for your horse, please submit the proper form on the current month’s journal hosted over on Nordministrator.
- To check if your horse already has a plaque go to their design image and look under the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION comment log – if your horse has a plaque, it will be linked there!
- You can alternatively search for your horse's ID in the Nordministrator gallery.
- Which shape and color of plaque you receive will be based on your horse’s original design. The lineart it is on determines the shape, and type of kaaring rewards received determines the color. See more below!

- To submit art, please respond to the current month’s journal hosted over on Nordministrator. This will work similarly to the thread-based system we have for breedings and foals!
- All horses transferring art from a journal must have that art uploaded somewhere with a link to that specific piece of art, with an image description for things like show entries, placings, etc (if applicable to that image). Yes! This means you can use toy.house or other similar sites for your horse’s art!
How to Register For Your Horse's Kaaring Plaque
- You will need to ensure that your horse is registered under your name with a current registration image – you can check the ID List to make sure that this is all good to go!
- Head over to Nordministrator and find the current month’s journal listed under “Posts”.
- Find section titled "Plaque Requests".
- Reply to correct comment with the listed form.
- 5. Once your plaque is uploaded you can transfer over previous level art under "Journal Transfers" OR submit new art under "Single Submissions".
Plaque Colors and Their Meaning
As stated briefly above, the shape and color of your plaque all depends on your horse’s original design, and on what lineart those designs are on!
The three examples above show the three different shapes – one for the yearlings from the newbie training arena, one for foals submitted to Storkdanner, and one for imports submitted to NordannerDesign.
