REturning members
- Q. Hi! I recently returned, but things have changed so much!! Where do I start?
- A. If you've made it this far, great job! You have found our official website. The Newbie Nook page of this website will help you tremendously in getting caught up. Another great thing to do is join our discord server – it is where the bulk of the community activity is hosted now!
- Q. I’m returning to the breed on a new account – can I transfer my old horses from my old account?
- A. Yes! You just have to provide some form of proof that the old account was yours. This can be either by logging into the old account and sending an ownership transfer, having at least one other person that can vouch that you are indeed that old user, screenshots of old wips to finished art on that account, journals or posts on the old account stating that you have a new account…and the list goes on! If there is any way you can prove the old accounts were yours, we can transfer the horses!
- Q. I saw my old imports were uploaded on NordannerDesign! Does this mean they’re alive again?
- A. Not necessarily. If a horse was deceased previously, it likely hasn’t been revived. We have uploaded all the old imports for record-keeping purposes for the group.
- Q. Can I revive my old imports? OR My old imports were deceased in the 2014 Abandoment reclaims, what do I do?
- A. To answer both of these questions, you can use a Cat Familiar to revive your old horses. You can find more information on Familiars and how to bond them on the Familiars page.
- Q. Do horses on my old account count if I want to do the Newbie Training Arena or the Adoption Center to get back into Nords?
- A. Yes, sadly. However, if you had less than 5 Nordanners on your old account, OR if it has been more than three years since you have had activity in the breed (regardless of number of Nordanners owned), you can still participate in the Newbie Training Arena!
nordanner toolsets
- Q. Are these free to use?
- A. Yes, of course! All of our official Nordanner toolsets linked below are free to use.
- Q. Can I search up horses and items and ask to buy them?
- A:. No. As covered in Group Rule 1, we do not allow these Nordanner resources to be used to look up old members and their horses, or their items, to ask to buy them. If that member has posted a sale, then you may reach out to them, but you may not use the resources to reach out to them out of the blue or "cold call" them.
- Q. What do I do if I find an error on the ID list?
- A. Use the #id-list-corrections channel in the discord and let us know!
- Q. What do I do if I find an error somewhere on the website, a Nordanner toolset, or in the discord / group?
- A. Check the Reporting Issues page!

Arena and Cartography
- Q. Can my horse enter into both Arena and Cartography on the same day?
- A. Yes! They are different events, so you can enter them both in the same day. Your horse just can't enter more than once on both of them, unless you have Adrenaline to use!
- Q. What happens if my horse gets hurt but I don't have a med kit?
- A. Your horse will be unable to participate in Cartography until you obtain one and apply it to the horse. You don't have to spend real money to get this though -- you can use GC! Check out the Minigames page to find ways to earn GC.
- Q. Do I have to bank my rewards or does the group do it for me?
- A. This is all taken care of for you by the group admin. You'll be able to see if your rewards are banked by checking the #cartography-finds or the #bank-deposits channel on the discord after you receive a comment from a group admin that your findings have been rolled!
- Q. Does the group have other bonuses that I can add to my horse through items?
- A. Yes! Check out the Store page, or the Store Catalogue under The Barracks tab. If you want to see what each item does, you'll have to click on the image to go to the item page hosted on Nordministrator.
- Q. Do I get the Group Event bonus kaaring for entering Arena and Carto?
- A. Yes! Arena and Cartography count as a group event.
- Q. Do I need to draw my horse's familiar in order to use their bonus?
- A. Nope! If you have a hound or a raptor you just have to link them. However, you are welcome to draw them for those trust points!
- Q. Where do I go to see what the different continents look like?
- A. Check out the Bestiary and World Map page! The World Map will show you all of the continents, and gives a description of each one.
- Q. Do I have to use the species in the Bestiary for my entries?
- A. Nope! You may draw any kind of dragon you like, so long as it is clearly a dragon. You can also use any of the creatures in the bestiary, even if they are not a dragon.
- Q. Can I combine these with other species activity rolls or other events?
- A. So long as the other species allows this, then yes.
banking: The royal bank
- Q. Do I need to join the NordannerONLINE discord to do my banking? Why?
- A. Yes, you will need to join the Discord in order to request a bank, change the name on your bank, and make any transactions (other than purchasing imports from either the monthly sales or mutation import sales in the group).
- We moved this function to the Discord as comment threads on DeviantART take a long time to load after you have a certain number of comments in a thread, and DeviantART would also constantly auto-refresh the page, making the admin lose their place. Overall, it took far too long to do banking on DeviantART, and we have none of these issues with Discord, which is why we moved the banking threads there!
- Q. How do I find a list of the group items to use on my horse?
- A. Check out the Nordministrator account, and also The Store Catalogue. We also have The Store page on this website to help direct you to the item page, and see what is offered on different areas of The Store Catalogue!
- Q. How do I purchase items?
- A. You can find this information on The Store page.
- Q. How do I find what I have in my Nordanner bank?
- A. You will have to go to the PUBLIC Royal Bank, then search for your username by typing it in the orange bar on the SEARCH page. Remember to follow the instructions at the top of the page, and wait for the page to load -- it can take a bit!
- Q. Where are my crafting materials?
- A. All crafting materials were moved to their own "bank", the Crafting Inventory. We separated it from your main bank as it many people's computers were having trouble loading the page with that much data on it!
breedings and foal designs
- Q. How do I submit foals? – How do I redesign my horse? – How do I transfer my old foals to the new lines?
- A. Everything you need to know is listed under the How-To tab, under the following pages: Breedings, Design Your Foals, Redesigns and Recreations.
- Q. My foal needed edits? Now what do I do?
- A. Make your edits and resubmit your foal to the Corrections thread on the Storkdanner journal – make sure you are updating the image, not reuploading a new one! How to do this is detailed on the Design Your Foals page.
- Q. I have a foal that I don’t remember the geno choices to, what do I do?
- A. First stop, check the PUBLIC ID List. Type the horse's ID in the orange boxes on the welcome page to search for the horse’s ID in the masterlist, and look in the notes section on the far right cell for that ID. Click on the link there, if there is one. There’s a chance your foal was on the new system and you’ll be able to get the genos yourself! If it is an admin note, you will be forbidden from the page. If this is the case, use the #help-and-questions channel in the discord to have an admin retrieve the genos for you. Don’t forget to give us the ID!
- Q. There is a mistake on my foal information when it was uploaded! What do I do?
- A. Use the #help-and-questions channel in the discord. We will need a link to the foal design, and a description of the error – keep it simple! Just tell us what’s messed up so we can fix it, we don’t need a whole paragraph’s description. i.e “Heya, the ID on my foal doesn’t match the breeding note!”, “Oops – looks like you guys copied a geno from another horse! Here’s the correct one!”
- Q. I have a breeding to a horse that was deceased years ago, can I still use it?
- A. Yes, provided you can link proof that you were on the slots list. This can be a screenshot, but the screenshot must contain the entire horse’s reference, including genotype, ID number, name, and the slots list. We need all of these to verify the breeding!
- Q. I completed payment for a slot, but the owner of the horse disappeared and hasn’t marked my slot (or marked it usable)! What do I do?
- A. Send a note to the group and include as much information as possible. Link us screenshots of the original agreement with the owner of the horse showing what payment was agreed on, all information regarding the payment being completed (links to art, screenshot proof, TRB transactions, etc), and proof that you have tried to reach out and have not gotten a response and that it has been longer than 2 weeks. (meaning we need those timestamps visible!) The admin team will take it from there!
- Please note: You must have finished all portions of the slot agreement and satisfied the user’s breeding rules in order for this to apply. If you have completed payment, but the user has stated that they require breeding pictures and/or a link to the horse you are using the slot to before the breeding can be marked useable, you must have completed all of this and received no response for at least 2 weeks before the group will take action.
- Please Note: Each instance of this will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and is not guaranteed that you will get to force the breeding. If we feel that we do not have enough information to force the breeding through, we will not be able to do so.
- Q. My horse has a slot that has been marked but not used in FOREVER, can I remove it? – My horse has a slot marked for a banned member, can I remove it? – Someone told me they don’t want the slot to my horse, can I remove it?
- A. We do not allow removal of breeding slots once they have been marked under any circumstances.
- Under the previous systems the group used prior to 2023-2024, we cannot verify who used which slot, or if slots were used at all.
- While after 2024 we do have the ability to prove whether or not a slot was used, we have decided that we can't verify that the slot wasn't bought for USD, and that it would not be fair for a slot to be removed simply because a member has gone inactive, has been banned (as they can appeal their ban), or has not communicated that they didn't want a parent slot prior to the horse being registered. For parent slots, we recommend that this be discussed before the marking and use of the slot in order to prevent unwanted parent slots.
- We would also have to review slot removals on a case-by-case basis, which would take up admin time that can be better spent making sure that all of your favorite activities are running regularly!
- Q. Can I transfer my breeding slot to another user?
- A. Yes, so long as both usernames remain on the slot and it is clear that the slot was transferred from one user to the other. Do be aware that if a slot is found to be used twice (double used), the member who sold the slot will face group action, and will have to refund the user they sold the slot to.
- For General (group horse) slots, you will need to note NordannerDesign and let us know who the slot was transferred to!
- What is to be done with the resulting foal will be handled on a case-by-case basis via private notes. We will reach out to both users and encourage them to note the group to have this resolved.
- Q. I changed account names, can I ask other users to change my name on their horse's slots?
- A. Yes, so long as both usernames remain on the slot and it is clear that the slot was transferred from the old account to the new. Do be aware that if the slot is found to be used twice (double used) and the horse is designed and registered that you will likely face group action. Under the group rules, we do not allow a slot to be used twice.
- We will review this on a case-by-case basis. If a foal was bred accidentally and is not yet designed the breeding will be cancelled and the ID reused for another purpose.
- Q. I accidentally used a breeding slot twice! What do I do now?
- A. So long as the horse is not designed, the breeding will be automatically canceled.
- If the horse already has a design, we recommend first reaching out to the owner of the horse and seeing if you can remedy the issue. If you need further assistance you can send a note to the group!
CRAFTING
- Q. Where are my crafting items, they aren't in my Royal Bank?
- A. They are in your Crafting Inventory.
- Q. How do I know what I need to craft?
- A. You can check this through the PUBLIC Crafting Bench -- you can find the link to this above under Nordanner Toolsets.
- Q. How do I craft?
- A. Check out the Crafting page.
FAMILIARS
- Q. Can horses have multiple familiars?
- A. No. Each horse can bond with only one familiar. You can always unbond a familiar and rebond the horse to a new one, but remember that will mean you need to rebuild trust. If a horse is revived using a cat, you will either need a Necromancer's hand, or 100% trust in order to unbond.
- Q. When I sell a horse with a familiar, does the familiar automatically go back to me?
- A. No. If you wish to keep the familiar that is on a horse, you must unbond it first before the sale. Otherwise, the familiar is sold with the horse and goes to the new owner!
- Q. What type of animal can my familiar be? Does it have to be drawn as that specific animal?
- A. Your familiar does not have to look like the ones on the images, no. The familiars page gives you a general idea of what each type of familiar is and therefore what species it can show as. The reindeer can be any ungulate, the fox any type of fox, the swan any non-predator bird (owls can be swans), the hound can be any canid, and the raptor is any bird-of-prey (including owls).
IMPORTS
- Q. How can I get a custom?
- A. This is covered more in depth on the Imports page. Customs are sold twice a year during the Mutation Import Sales -- you can get both natural and mutation customs there. Occasionally, they are also given away as prizes during events.
- Q. Do you sell multiple of the same mutation in a year?
- A. Not usually. Except in certain circumstances, we usually only limit the sale of mutation imports to one per calendar year.
- Q. Can I request a specific designer for my horse with the new imports system?
- A. It depends on the kind of import! For customs of all types, you can reach out to the designer directly and order a commission from them. They are no longer obligated to do designs for the group for free, though they may happily take trades for group items, GC, or other means. For semi-customs, you may request a specific designer, but you are not guaranteed to get them, as they may be busy!
- Q. If I have two mutation imports in my bank, can I combine them?
- A. Of course! However, after the two mutation genes you will still have only 6 genes to play with, as you are only making one horse.
KAARING AND REPUTATION
- Q. Can I submit kaaring if my horse doesn't have a plaque yet?
- A. No - you will need to have a plaque created first! You can find details of how to do this on the Kaaring Plaques page.
- Q. Are kaaring rewards automatically banked or do I have to send something in?
- A. For level rewards, they will be automatically banked unless your horse has reached a level where you have a choice of rewards. You will then be directed to note the Nordministrator account with your choices!
- Q. What are the kaaring amounts for the OLD system kaaring ranks? (From back in the Dane days!)
- A. The o.s system ranks and their kaaring values are as follows:
- 1 star ribbon | QB* – 15 KP
2 star ribbon | QB** – 30 KP
3 star ribbon | QB*** – 45 KP
4 star ribbon | QB**** – 60 KP
5 star ribbon | QB***** – 75 KP - Excellent Blood | same as the current system. All o.s EB horses will be marked as simply EB on the ID list, with no sublevels listed. These horses all received the 10 breeding slots at earning Excellent Blood.
- Q. Can I log kaaring for another person?
- A. No, you may only log kaaring for the horses you own. The art may be done by somebody else, but it is the owner's responsibility to log kaaring.
- Q. How much previous kaaring can I keep when I redesign the horse? What about reviving?
- A. When you redesign a horse, you get to keep 20 kaaring of their old kaaring. When you revive a horse, how much kaaring you get to keep depends entirely on the tier of cat used to revive the horse. See the Reviving a Nordanner page for more information.
- Q. Can I put all of my submissions in one comment?
- A. Nope, they must all be separate comments. We do this so that we are able to link to a specific piece of art for both the kaaring plaques, and any issues with kaaring counts. It is much easier to link to the piece that is the issue, rather than link to a huge list where we have to dig through to find which piece has issues!
- Q. My horse isn’t on the old ranking system but has a ton of art - do I have to do it all in single submits?
- A. Nope! As of October 2024, you can submit a horse with no rank and more than 10 pieces of art in the journal submissions thread to get them all caught up!
OWNERSHIP TRANSFERS, LEASES, deceasing, reclaims
- Q. So...when I sell my horse, I have to send an ownership transfer?
- A. Yes, with ID numbers listed in order from low -> high, including the ID and name of each of the horses, and @ the account you are transferring it to. This Ownership Transfer, or OT, cannot be sent by the buyer, it must be sent by you. If you have multiple accounts, you must send the OT from the account which is listed as owning the horse in the ID list!
- Q. I’m moving accounts; will my horses move with me?
- A. No, not automatically. If changing accounts, you’ll need to send an ownership transfer for each of your Nordanners, in numerical order from low -> high.
- Q. I want to have all of my accounts listed as owner of my horses, can I do this?
- A: Sadly, this is not possible. Our current toolsets are not set up to handle co-ownership of horses, or multiple usernames listed as one owner. You will have to pick one account to be listed as the owner of your horses.
- Q. I regret deceasing my Nordanner, can I bring them back?
- A. See "Reviving Your Nordanner" section above. We understand that occasionally mistakes happen, however if you are frequently deceasing and reviving horses it may lead to group action. If you left the breed in the past and deceased your Nordanners, and are coming back after a long hiatus, this does not fall under the "frequently deceasing and reviving" clause. (Clarification: If you consistently purchase horses, decease them, and revive them in several instances is when the group will consider action. Several instances meaning that it happens consistently.)
- Q. I own a deceased Nordanner, and keep getting DMed about purchasing my now-deceased horse, how can I stop this?
- A. Nordanner toolsets are absolutely not intended to be used to reach out to past members in order to purchase deceased or old horses. You may either note the group, or reach out to the group founder in order to have this taken care of.
- Q. I bought a former-Nordanner that is now in another breed, can I revive the Nordanner?
- A. See "Reviving Your Nordanner" section above. That section answers this question in full, with current group guidelines.
- Q. Why doesn't Nordanner just make deceasing permanent like "x" breed?
- A. Prior owners of the breed implemented the Cat Familiar for reviving horses, and at this point it has been used frequently enough we cannot remove this feature.
- Q. Why doesn't the group track and manage sterilized horses?
- A. Short answer: Nordanner's studbook currently has over 19,000 horses.
Long answer: In the past, we have not had the toolsets to properly manage this. We also do not have the admin or hours to check every horse's reference and log which horses have been sterilized.
- A. Short answer: Nordanner's studbook currently has over 19,000 horses.
Reclaim Specific Questions:
- Q. So...how do I reclaim?
- A. Check the Reclaims page for information on the very few instances in which the group will offer reclaims.
- Q. I own a foal of an inactive parent, what do I have to do to be able to reclaim it?
- A. Nothing. Foal owners have no claim on their sire or dam, or of any inactive horse in the lineage, whether it be an ancestor or descendant. The group no longer has activity rules.
- Q. The group has done a reclaim, and the other owner won't let me have the foal, but I want it! What happens now?
- A. This falls under private sales, and the group will not step in and handle this unless it becomes an issue of harassment or other broken group rules. It may be an inconvenience for you, but we simply cannot force someone to sell something that they own.
- Q. So...no one can take my horse if I miss the registration deadline?
- A. That's right! There are no longer any registration deadlines.
- Q. The group reclaimed a horse of mine. What does that mean?
- A. If this was done prior to 2018-2019 -- Generally, that means the ID has been recycled and given to another Nordanner to use. You retain the rights to your design, however and may use it either on another import, foal, or in another breed. If the reclaimed horse was part of the 2020 reclaims, it was handled a bit differently. The horse geno, pheno, and slots lists + previous owner information was all retained by the group and the horses given new names, designs, and owners. Again, you retain the rights to the horse's design. Any future reclaims by the group will be handled on a case-by-case basis -- see the above question "So....how do I reclaim?" and the Group Rules for more information.
- Q. There are some group-reclaimed horses or horses from banned members that I want! How can I obtain one?
- A. Horses from banned members will no longer be put up for rehoming. These horses will remain "in-limbo" or will be deceased. Because of this, they will not be available to be obtained under any circumstance.
Horses that were previously owned by you and were not claimed in the 2020 reclaims are not eligible to be reclaimed.
- A. Horses from banned members will no longer be put up for rehoming. These horses will remain "in-limbo" or will be deceased. Because of this, they will not be available to be obtained under any circumstance.
REGISTRATION
- Q. So, I have to use the “ID Name” format, but I like it better “Name ID.” Can I change it?
- A. No, you may not change this. We require the ID to be listed first in order to make it easier on admin when processing things using our toolsets.
- Q. Can I include additional information on my registration image that is NOT a part of the registration form above?
- A. Yes! You may alter the form however you wish, and include any other information you desire -- we only ask that the information we ask for in the form is easy for us to find!
- Q. Can I change my registration image?
- A. Yes! You may update your registration image at any time! To change your image, edit the existing deviation with the new file. Feel free to re-upload the original for kaaring or record-keeping purposes!
- Please note: In order to gain kaaring from the new registration image, you will have to resumbit it to the monthly kaaring journal on Nordministrator for the points to be logged on your horse's kaaring log!
- Q. One of my horse's ancestors is deceased, but I still have the link to their reference, can I link it anyway?
- A. You will have to change deceased horses to plain-text only in the lineage grid. We require this because sometimes deceased Nordanners are moved to other breeds, and the reference is recycled and reused for that other breed. Please reference the ID List to determine which of your horse's ancestors are still living or deceased, and use the reference links provided on the ID list when filling out the lineage portion of your horse's registration.
- Q. I want a pretty reference format, not the same generic thing! Can I do that?
- A. Yes, so long as it’s still easy to read, contains the necessary information, and we can find all of the necessary information without having to spend several minutes hunting for it (aka the design and the geno are in super tiny font buried in a hard-to-find area, etc).
- Q. My reference submission expired; what should I do?
- A. Oops! Sorry about that. Should your submission expire, resubmit and let us know in the comment section of the new correspondence! You will not lose a horse to reclaims due to group delays -- that is no longer something the group practices, and hasn't practiced for many years
- Q. Why is the Nordanner Credits journal required?
- A. To start with, Nordanner is a very large community, with very old roots in the HARPG community. As such, we have a lot of resources to credit in order to avoid issues with copyrights violations. There are plenty of users who recognize this, and they would tag the founder and co-founder on their registrations image, which would add hundreds of notifications a week to those accounts. In order to remedy this, we moved this information to the Nordanner Credits journal, and ask that all users add a link to it on their registrations. This is no different than other breeds who require you to credit their founder or breed creator on registrations -- we just have a handy-dandy journal with all of the credits, not just those specific ones.
- In 2023, we added this section as a requirement, but it was not enforced until September 2024.
- Q. Can I put my lineage somewhere other than the registration image?
- A. No -- your horse's lineage grid AND the starter list (if applicable to your horse) must be listed on your horse's registration image. If you would like to have a journal, stash journal, google doc, etc where the complete and extended lineage is listed that is up to you.
- We require this for several reasons:
- So there is a quick reference of lineage for slotholders to make sure that the horse they want to use their slot to is unrelated.
- For Breeding admin to have a quick reference to double check lineages before rolling breedings.
- For future owners of that horse and owners of its offspring to be able to easily find that horse's lineage.
- Q. I like the looks of the extended lineage. Can I keep the extended lineage??
- A. If a member wants to keep the old (extended) lineage, they can do so OFF of their Nordanner's reference (sta.sh/journal/google doc/etc).
- Q. Do I have to transition/update older horses/horses with extended grids that I already own?
- A. Nope! You may do so if you want to. However, the only time a horse is required to switch to this new system is when a horse has to be re-registered -- i.e transferring horses to new accounts, purchasing a horse, references have accidentally been deleted, etc.
- Q. My horse's lineage is more than 10 generations -- can I leave off all of these really old and deceased starters?
- A. Absolutely not. Lineages must be complete, and the registration admin will be able to spot these sorts of errors usually. If they miss them, another department of the admin team will usually uncover the issue eventually. We require complete lists of starters to stop inbreeding, linebreeding, or otherwise including a horse more than once in a horse's lineage. These sorts of things are not allowed in Nordanner. If you purchase an old horse and discover that it is inbred, please send a note to the group with screenshots of where you found the lineage error, your horse's ID and Name, and links to any references.
Potions, Scars, dye, contacts, etc -- customizing your nordanner
Q. Are the free potions really free?
- A. Yes! They really are free -- there is no cost to use them.
- A. Nope! The free potions are just that, they are free to use. There is no claiming process / submission process required.
- A. If your horse has unlocked that potion through kaaring, no. However, if you would like to bypass the kaaring requirement to earn it for that horse for free and instead craft or buy one, then yes you would have to submit the use through #item-redeem in the discord.
- A. There are no restrictions to using the free potions, or by combining them in any way. They don't attach to your horse's pheno, geno, or pass on to offspring.
- A. For life, unless you choose to hide the effects.
- A. Sugar Water is merely the lore device used to explain how to remove the effects of potions. It is the "make it make sense" of the explanation for how to customize your horse easily is all! For this reason, you don't actually have to show the Nordanner drinking sugar water to remove potions (or show them drinking potions to add effects or reapply them after removing them). You can just apply and remove the effects of the potions at-will.
- A. Nordanner potions are for use with Nordanners only. Non-Nordanner breeds, OCs, etc will have their own reasons or abilities to show similar qualities that will not be caused by Nordanner potions.
- A. No. This magic can be very dangerous and unstable, so only those trained in the art of potion making can create new concoctions! (But you can probably use a combination of potions to create what you are looking for).
- A. Yes, of course!
- A. Yes! so long as we can tell that it is clearly the same horse according to their official design, you may include potions on their reference.
- A. Yes, to a point. All of these are allowed, so long as we can clearly tell it is the same horse according to their official design. If you are using these to drastically alter the horse's design, then it will likely get turned down at registration.
- A. No. Breedable Potions must be applied at the time of breeding said Nordanner, or with the use of an Attachment Stone for imports at the time of the import being created. Once a Nordanner has an official design posted, you will not be able to add a Breedable Potion.
WORLD: BESTIARY, CHARACTERS, LORE, QUEEN'S GENERALS, WORLD MAP
- Q. Can I lease a Queen's General (group horse)? How do I do that?
- A. Of course you may lease a General! To "lease" them, you can just simply draw them. There is no application process or place to "claim" a General for lease. They are freely available to be leased whenever you would like.
- Q. Can I draw a Royal Horse with my horses?
- A. Of course! This is the same as a General, however the Royal Horses may not take kindly to new riders that they have not already accepted in the Lore.
- Q. Do my horses have to participate in the canon storyline / lore?
- A. Nope! The canon storyline and the lore are there only for flavor -- to add depth and richness to the breed. You aren't required to participate in it with your own horses, however some of our events will be lore-centric.
- Q. Does my stable need to be somewhere on the world map?
- A. Nope! See above question on the canon storyline. Your stable can be wherever you choose.
- Q. Do my riders have to be human riders in events where you get a bonus for having a rider?
- A. Nope! They can be whatever species they are. However, do not that if they are another ARPG species that their home species may have some rules against collaboration or picturing their species in another ARPG species' event.
- Q. Can I draw the species in the Bestiary in my Nordanner art without entering Arena or another Nordanner event?
- A. Of course!

All users on the Nordanner blacklist may appeal their ban after 1 calendar year of their blacklist date. However, the Nordanner group reserves the right to deny your appeal. There are many reason we may deny an appeal, such as:
- Evasion of the ban with new accounts, sharing an account with a current member, using a current member to purchase horses for them in order to evade the ban, etc. In this case, the new account will be banned, owned horses deceased, and any Nordanner items acquired removed from the Royal Bank and Crafting Inventory.
- Harassment of Founder and / or admin and other Nordanner members after a ban is issued.
- The severity of the issue in which a user was blacklisted from the breed.
- Blocking a Nordanner administrative account (Storkdanner, Nordministrator, NordannerDesign, NordannerEvents) or the current founder account.
Blacklist FAQ

- Q. I have a slot to a banned member's horse, can I still use it?
- A. Yes! A member being banned does not stop you from using your slots to their horse. If the member deletes the ref, no worries! Nordanner has kept a copy of their slotlist and lineage for our records.
- Q. One of my horses has a slot to a banned member's horse, can I remove them from the slotlist?
- A. No, you cannot remove them from the slotlist. At this time we are unable to prove whether or not a slot has been used with 100% accuracy, nor do we know if refunds were processed for the slot, or if other agreements were made about it. All marked slots must remain as-is.
leaving the group
- Q. Do I need to send a message to let you know I'm leaving the group?
- A. Nope!
- Q. Are there any tasks I need to do in order to leave?
- A. Also no. If you wish to sell or decease your horses upon leaving, you may do so. You can also leave the discord and group whenever you wish. If you opt to leave your horses and items behind, they will simply remain in-limbo and you will not lose them. (Exception to this is if you are banned from the breed. See the banned members dropdown.)
- Please note: Overuse of deceasing and reviving Nordanners may lead to group action. We recommend that if there is a chance you might come back further down the road to either sell or leave your horses as-is. Read more about Reviving a Nordanner for more details.
- Q. What if I leave and decide I want to come back. Will my horses be dead?
- A. Nope! See the above question. If you leave and don't do anything with your horses and items, they will still be as you left them when you return.
- Q. If I want to come back later, can I do that?
- A. Of course! Welcome back! Check the Newbie Nook page and this website for anything that's changed, since we are always growing and evolving. The above two questions cover your horses and items.
