What are Candy hearts? How do I use them?

What are Candy Hearts?

  • Candy Hearts are an event currency. That means they can only be earned while a certain event is going on in the group. Each event currency has its own shop where you can spend that event currency for group items including event-specific items! 
  • If you don't spend all of your event currency in a given year, don't worry! Your leftover currency rolls over year after year. ​
  • You can also turn in all of your Candy Hearts for GC if you so desire. Each Candy Heart is worth 50 GC.
  • Event currency is stored and spent using the group discord, so you will have to join the discord if you aren't already a member!

How do I spend my Candy Hearts?

Firstly, you need to be a member of the discord in order to spend your Candy Hearts, since all transactions with Candy Hearts are run through the group discord. 

Next, here is the process for spending those hard-earned Candy Hearts!
  1. In the channel navigation (the big list of channels) on the left-hand side, scroll all the way to the bottom of the list!
  2. Click on the #item-redeem channel.
  3. In the upper right, click on the pinned messages icon. It is the one that looks like a thumbtack/push pin two icons over from discord's search bar. 
  4. Find the redeeming items form and copy it with the copy button. You'll have to click the icon that appears when you put your curser/mouse over the redeeming items form. It looks like two sheets of paper stacked on top of each other!
  5. Paste the form into the message section and fill it out! You'll need your username, the number of Candy Hearts you are using, and what item you are purchasing from the shop.

You can find a link to the item's page and what it does on the Store page. When you are ready to use the item, you follow the same process as above to use it. 
what is the Candy hearts event?
The Candy Hearts event came about as a fun addition to the breed. We wanted to have an alternate type of recurring event each year that we could change and customize to keep it fun and fresh, while giving players another reliable option to save in-game currency for free items that normally wouldn't be available otherwise. 

Here's a quick rundown of the different types of events you might see in February:

Art Submissions in white-day thread. 

For every piece of art that you submit into the white-day thread in discord you earn Candy Hearts! The number of Candy Hearts you can earn based on the art piece varies, so you will have to check the event journal when it goes live. 

Valentine's Foal Raffles

Every year we have some Valentine's-themed foals that you can enter for by using your Candy Hearts to buy tickets! Even better, these foals are from group horse bloodlines and are on the coveted yearling lineart. 

Breeding Bonuses

In 2026, we are adding a tasty bonus to breedings for the month of February. Look out for the event journal to find out what it is!

Bots n' Shop

We have two different minigame bots in our group discord that you can participate in as a part of the Spooktacular fun!
